The course covers different aspects of physical sciences. Students learn about the field of mechanics, forces;momentum, work and energy;kinematics and dynamics; thermodynamics; fluids;circuits and electricity; electrostatics and (electromagnetic; vibrations; waves and sounds; optics and light; atomic and nuclear phenomena. Upon completion students are able to describe basic mechanical laws that govern the physical world; compare and contrast momentum, energy and force; explain the effects of gravitation; describe fluids and the concept of waves; discuss and solve dynamic problems related to heat and thermodynamics. Students are also able to apply Coulomb’s Law, Ohm’s Law,Faraday’s Law, Kirchhoff’s rules and Lenz’s Law and freely discuss the concepts of current, resistance, capacitance and capacitors. The course teaches radioactivity and its use in life and biological science, health care and medical field. Students learn to solve problems related to atomic half-life and the decay constant.
The laboratory portion of the course allows students to experiment with Newton’s laws;observe relationship between forces and acceleration; solve energy related problems; calculate, apply and interpret currents, potentials, resistances, and electromotive forces.
Our innovative approach includes videos delivered in the student’s own time, one week of lab, quizzes and 4 exams. Because we understand that each student has a different pace of studying, we have introduced an innovative way of teaching using technology. The advantages of using videos is that students can study on their own time, going back to concepts they do not have a firm grasp on. Also, the courses offered through this approach give the flexibility of finishing in anywhere from 8 weeks to 1 year.
Royal Crown Professors and Instructors have more than 40 years of combined experience at renowned international programs and Canadian Universities. More than 95% of our premedical students continue their studies at various Medical Schools and successfully graduate with an MD degree. The unprecedented success of our students is a testimony of the quality of our premedical programs.
Our esteem and diverse Faculty brings teaching experience and subject matter knowledge to supports the success of our students. The preceptors’ approach is students focused on training the next generation of medical professionals. We nurture the academic, ethical, and interpersonal qualities required for the successful completion and future practice of medical and other health sciences relate disciplines. We pride ourselves on our faculty/student relationships that strengthen the learner experience and secure the future carrier of our students.
